Tarun Gogoi extremely critical

The health condition of former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi deteriorated on Monday morning and he is “very very critical”, doctors said.
The octogenarian Congress pioneer, going through therapy at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital for post-Covid confusions, is being observed by a group of nine specialists, GMCH Superintendent Abhijit Sarma said.
“The current status of Sir (Gogoi) is incredibly basic and the specialists are giving a valiant effort,” he told journalists.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is at GMCH alongside Gogoi’s child Gaurav.
