TikTok now preparing to go to London, trying to get out of China’s identity

TikTok has been in talks with the UK government for the last few months to shift its head office to London. Reuters quoted a person associated with the matter as saying that the company’s effort was part of distancing itself from its Chinese ownership.
London is one of the many locations where the company plans to shift its headquarters. But the source said that no decision has been taken in this matter yet.
TikTok in Washington tightly monitored
