Amid political slugfest involving social media giant Facebook, a company spokesperson has said that the platform “prohibits hate speech and content that incites violence. “We enforce these policies globally without regard to anyone’s political position/party affiliation,” the spokesperson added as reported by news agency ANI.

The authority likewise said that the organization is gaining ground on implementing and directing customary reviews of its procedures to guarantee decency and exactness.

This comes a day after Congress pioneer and previous gathering boss Rahul Gandhi asserted that the BJP and its ideological parent the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) control Facebook and WhatsApp in India.

In a tweet, Gandhi stated, “They spread phony news and scorn through it and use it to impact the electorate. At long last, the American media has come out with reality with regards to Facebook”. His tweet additionally contained pieces of media reports.
