Yogi Adityanath will prove to be the trump card in improving Indo-Nepal relationship
The deteriorating relations between India and Nepal between China and China cannot be forgotten. It is being told that good relations between the Gorakhnath temple and the common people can bring a disparity in the old relations of the two countries. Yogi Adityanath may prove to be the trump card for this.
At present, Nepal-India relations between China and China cannot be ignored. The matter of concern is that Nepal, under the pressure of China, has sidelined the centuries-old roti-beti relationship. Despite this, the good relations of the Gorakhnath temple and the common people can bring a disparity in the old relations of the two countries. To rectify this, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Gorakshpithadhishwar Mahant may prove to be the Yogi Adityanath trump card.
Let me tell you that Yogi had recently warned Nepal that it should remember the fate of Tibet before setting the political boundaries of its country. Nepali Prime Minister Oli was very angry about this matter and gave it to the Yogi, making a political mistake, giving it a political tool. Director of Nepal Research Studies Center, Dr. Pradeep Rao told, “The relationship between Nathpanth and Nepal is very important at the cultural-religious level.”
Gorakhnath symbols on Nepal’s currency
Rao said that Mahayogi Gorakhnath was the Rajguru of Nepal. Gorakhnath’s name is inscribed on Nepal’s currencies. Previously, his footsteps were inscribed on it, now the dagger of Prithinath is inscribed. It is still on Nepali currency. The currency of any nation is its symbol. Just as there is Ashoka Chakra and Mahatma Gandhi in India, similarly the symbols associated with Gorakhnath and Nathpanth are still inscribed on Nepal’s currency. It is created in the public mind.
Pradeep said that even the communist government there could not remove his symbol. We have not been able to use it in relation to India-Nepal to date, otherwise, this situation would not have happened today. If India talks about Nepal cultural heritage by keeping Gorakhnath at the center then how is it possible without Gorakhnath temple? People of Nepal said to the Peethadheeshwar of Gorakhnath that even today they consider Gorakhnath’s representative.
