How to complete vitamin D deficiency at home

  • By staying in the right diet and sunlight, the sun can overcome its deficiency. It is said that the body needs 600 UI vitamin D daily. If you cannot go out, then eliminate vitamin D deficiency at home.
  • Show your hands, feet, and face in the sunlight daily for 30 minutes. You should do this between 10 am to 3 am. You can do this by sitting on your balcony or terrace.
  • Include fish such as salmon, tuna, etc. in your diet. You include egg yolk, milk, orange juice, mushroom salad, cereal in breakfast.
  • If you do not eat fish, you can take one teaspoon of liver oil daily. One teaspoon of liver oil fulfills your body’s daily requirement of vitamin D by around 56 percent.
  • Vegan people are more likely to lack it. If you are vegan then you can opt for soy milk, almond milk, etc.
  • Remember, do not take vitamin D too much. This increases the risk of kidney damage.

Vitamin D is a nutrient that helps in calcium absorption as well as taking care of bones. At the same time, vitamin D strengthens immunity and muscles also make strong. We get vitamin D from two sources – first sun and second our diet. Talking about diet, it is found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, etc. It is also found in some mushrooms. We also get Vitamin D from full cream milk, butter, ghee. With this, one should stand in the sun sometime between 9 am to 2 am so that the body can get the necessary vitamin D.
